Acupuncture & Moxibustion
Acupuncture
Very thin disposable needles are inserted at various acupuncture points located along energetic meridians on the body.
Electro-Acupuncture
This involves connecting the needles to a micro or milli current. It helps speed up the recovery process and provides more intense stimulation. It stimulates cellular healing and regeneration.
Acupressure
Pressure is applied to various acupuncture points or trigger points on the body.
Tuning Forks
Tuning Forks ground the body and bring the body into balance using the various sound frequencies. These are also a great option for the patient that is afraid of acupuncture needles.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is the warming of the mugwort plant (Ai Ye) near acupuncture points on the body. It alleviates pain, warms the channels, and activates the qi in the meridians (energetic channels). It is especially effective at warming the womb for the treatment of infertility, dysmenorrhea, and amenorrhea.
